Thanks to the Italian Research System for contributing to the realisation of this exhibition through ideas, images, videos, tools, objects and materials, in continuous evolution to witness
the commitment and success goals of the many researchers
present throughout our country.
Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge is the story of a journey across our country from the South to the North. The real protagonists are the researchers and the places where the research moves forward every day; in universities, research centres, large companies and in young start-ups. A story from which the modern dimension of Research emerges, which will continue to evolve step by step, around the world, welcoming new stories and looking towards the future.
A real chorus of excellences; dynamic and lively, which constitute the beauty of Italian research.
Italy is renowned for its history and tradition,
but it has also been an active laboratory of innovation,
where fascinating challenges are faced and where
it is possible to imagine and plan for a better future.
Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge presents an
emotionally-engaging experience and an intriguing
opportunity to learn about the excellence of research
in science and technology produced in Italy.
The exhibition aims at conveying the non-traditional, creative and dynamic collisions that make up the Italian research system, combining knowledge with the artistic tradition of Italy as well as the renown Italian lifestyle and art of well-being. It explores “The Beauty of Knowledge” through the following main themes:
• Health
• Environment
• Space
• Food and Nutrition
• Cultural Heritage
Throughout the different exhibition sections,
the “Renaissance Spirit” is highlighted as a vital
and significant component of the past, but also
as a driving engine for current research and innovation,
and a cultural model to be disseminated all over the world.
The exhibition has been created in the form of a travelling exhibition where its first inauguration took place in Rome in April 2018. The destinations outside Italy in 2018 and 2019 were the following:
Alexandria of Egypt (Egypt), New Delhi (India),
Singapore (Republic of Singapore),
Jakarta (Indonesia), Hanoi (Vietnam),
Canton (China), Buenos Aires (Argentina).
